- holds the phone tightly. Seriously, this is the single-most important feature for a motorcycle phone holder, and this holder grips my iPhone Mini very strongly. I have it attached up high where I can see it easily, and the motorcycle does vibrate a lot in this area, but the holder keeps a strong grip on my phone.
- charges wirelessly. This is my first wireless charger of any kind and I absolutely love it! I place my phone in the holder, turn the ignition to on, and voila, the phone''s charging! I use my bike in the city, and this is nice for jumping on and off the bike multiple times, and getting a phone charge without thinking about plugging in a cable. Or for a longer trip when I''m using navigation and the phones uses more power.
- has awesome grip and release mechanisms. Just place the phone in the middle of the holder and the four arms draw down around the corners of the phone. To release, even with one had, squeeze the two side bars in to allow the arms to extend outward, and take your phone from the holder.
- has strong, metal parts. The important areas of the holder are made of metal, and it feels like good quality. Of course it does have plastic for the surface area of the holder, but that''s okay. The clamping part and screw are of good quality and strong. The holder has not slipped or skewed in its location; it has stayed firmly in the same position.

Negatives:
- Something on the inside of the mount rattles. I definitely hear a distinctive rattling noise coming from the holder when my bike is in a certain vibration pattern. It''s not always there.

Other notes:
- I haven''t used the wired charging port yet, so I''m not sure how well it works.
- I have a relay installed on the bike so that this charger is only on when the ignition is on. I received the item quickly and installed the next day. Honestly, it seems like a good charger and I''m pretty happy with it even though I''ve only had it installed for two days. If you are relatively handy around a motorcycle you can install this yourself as it is pretty simply. All you need to do is connect the wires to the battery terminals. Easy. The hardest part is routing the wire. If you aren''t handy you can take it to somebody that knows what they are doing and they should be able to install it in an hour or so on most motorcycles.

Pros:

The item seems well built. I like the functionality and the clamping mechanism (which clamps the four corners of your phone), which seems very simple to use. You simply press the two side buttons to remove the phone and then push the phone against the back plate and the four corner clamps snap shut. I took a ride this afternoon on my bike and while the phone mount was easy to adjust it remained sturdy throughout my ride. I''m pretty pleased. The phone also charges as described via wireless charging even though my phone has a thin clear plastic (flexible) case on it. So far even though this is new I really like it. I am skeptical though how long it will last and continue to function given that it is Chinese made simply because my experience with Chinese made products is that they are often poor quality or lack quality control during manufacturing. We''ll see.

Installing the mount was pretty easily. My motorcycle is brand new and I had never taken it apart before. A 15 minute YouTube video showed me how to remove the seat and gas tank for proper installation and routing of the wires. Installation took about 90 minutes given that I didn''t know what I was doing. I had to make an additional trip to the hardware store to buy some tools to remove items on the bike to route the wires to the battery. The phone charger simply comes with a mounting bracket and mounting parts and it has a wire connected to it so nothing real fancy. The work comes in properly routing the wire to the battery so it isn''t in the way. Inside the box there are a number of little mounting accessories, which presumably are for different handlebar or mounting configurations. On a motorcycle I actually removed everything and it fit just fine. I mounted mine to the right handlebar next to the throttle because I''m right handed.

Con''s (what I don''t like):

Although I like the functionality of the product there are some things that I didn''t like or wasn''t pleased with that kept me from giving this 5 stars.
1) no instructions were included with the charging mount. Nothing at all. Not even a piece of paper. You simply get a brown box with parts inside. Most of the parts didn''t apply to my installation so I''ll hang onto the box for a while in case they are needed.
2) The wire that was included and pre-attached to the charger is about 12 inches too short to properly route and hide on a Harley-Davidson motorcycle. The result was that I couldn''t route the wire behind the handle bars like the other wires are routed. Now I have about a foot of wire exposed and hanging there. The kit includes two small black zip ties but really I''ll need 4 or 5 most likely by the time I figure out how to hide the wire as best I can. I''ll have to make another trip to the hardware store for more black zip ties.
3) The button on the back of the charger is really tiny and it''s covered in a small clear rubberized cover to keep it dry. It''s a 3-way button so you have Off, USB On and Wireless Charging On. You can''t have USB on and Wireless charging on at the same time. I have big hands and big fingers and even without gloves it was a struggle to get the switch to one of the charging positions. With the rubberized cover I couldn''t get it to click into position. Actually, I thought the charger was defective at first until I finally used a tool to get the switch to stay in wireless charging position to verify that it was working. Looks like there won''t be any turning this thing off unless the bike will stay in storage for a while. I can''t imagine trying to work the little switch with motorcycle gloves on. Most of the mounts I didn''t fully trust at highway speeds or while offroad, and none of them really were sturdy enough to hold up over time. I eventually gave up on phone mounts and just kept the phones in my pocket or backpack.

I recently purchased a new Zero DSR for my work commute (80 miles round trip). Because it will be used every day, I wanted a mount that was quick to use, secure, durable and had wireless charging. I thought I was looking for a unicorn but pulled the trigger on this one anyway due to the reviews.

After nearly two weeks of commuting, I can confidently say this mount checks all the boxes. Here are the pros:
- Very solid construction. Critical parts I though would be plastic turned out to be metal. It feels heavy, but not in the "added weight for the feel" kind of way.
- Very solid grip on the phone (with or without case). Love the 4 corner design, It stays away from any buttons and most importantly, has a huge mechanical advantage in holding the phone as opposed to side grip mounts. I have even jumped the bike and taken it offroad (it''s not a dirt bike of course), and had no issues.
- Wireless charging works flawlessly. I just click the phone in and ride, and when I arrive to or from work my battery is charged.
- Very easy installation. There are multiple mounting options for different size handlebars, and even a mirror mount. There are also solid rubber isolator grips.
- Easy wiring. I am very adept at electrical wiring due to my occupation and hobbies, but they included PLENTY of wire.
- Very easy to use. Just place the phone in, and it''s secure. Press the tabs and it''s out, and your fingers are conveniently placed to grab the phone. It''s also large enough for even some of the largest phones out there.

Cons: (nitpicky, since I will probably never use the USB port)
- USB and wireless are one or the other. Can''t use both at the same time.

Admittedly, I was tired from work and may not have made sure my phone was properly secure as this is the one time it has happened in dozens of rides / hundreds of miles.
