About Le Creuset
Since 1925, Le Creuset cast iron has been recognized for its strength and durability. Cast individually in sand molds, then hand-inspected by French artisans, each piece represents a rich heritage and continues a tradition of lasting, authentic design.
Le Creuset is focused on inspiring and empowering people everywhere to make joy through cooking. From our original enameled cast iron cookware to stoneware, stainless, silicone and more.
Revolution Bi-Material Tools are designed to improve even the toughest of cooking tasks. The pliable combination of flexible silicone and rigid glass-reinforced nylon allows them to conform to the edges of pots and pans while retaining strength and durability. Patented elliptical handles are thoughtfully crafted for comfort and control.
Dual-material construction offers flexibility without sacrificing strength
Elliptical-shape handle with grip rings increases comfort and control
Heat-resistant and dishwasher-safe
Heat recommendations
Le Creuset silicone utensils and accessories are heat-resistant to 482°F/ 250°C, so they are ideal for stovetop cooking. Utensils should not be left in pans while cooking, and handles should not overhang the sides. Heat from the stove can damage the wooden handle.
Cleaning and care
Silicone is dishwasher-safe, so accessories made entirely from silicone can be placed directly in the dishwasher.
Before first use
Remove all packaging and labels. Wash the utensil or accessory in hot, soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.

The soft red area at the front of the "blade" started to shred the first time I used it to flip a burger in a Le Creuset Signature Iron Skillet. Not good ;-) I am not to excited about eating little bits of silicon with my meal, how about you? Maybe it''s the wrong tool for the job but as far as I can tell it should be: Le Creuset spatula in Le Creuset pan.

Coming from a reputable brand and with a high price tag for a spatula, I was hoping this would be the last spatula I buy. But, alas. Stir frying chicken below the smoke point of my oil proved too much for this spatula to handle. Returned, and I don''t want a replacement. Some of the plastic bits that melted made it into my food and I don''t want to risk feeding more of that to my family.

Great look and durability. Material thickness and angle of the spatulas front seems to make it more difficult to get under the food for flipping. Also the handle just feels awkward. Quality is outstanding.

Material and finish is quite nice, but the actual edge of this flipper is too thick and bulky to work with most foods.... Also, the spade is too stiff so there is no useful flex to it when trying to work it under food. A huge design miss that limits useful function and place in the kitchen. In a world of a million kitchen tools and limited storage space, this one does not have a place dues to mis-design.

While I am a big fan of Le Creuset cookware, this spatula falls way short of my expectations. - It is a stellar nonstick pan scratcher/destroyer. This spatula is not deserving of the label Le Creuset.

I love the fact that these have the flexibility of the silicone with the hard edge along the bottom that allows for scraping of bits off the pan. While I do cook with stainless steel and regular old sheet pans, I also have a couple of non-stick cookie sheets and a 8" skillet that I use sometimes and it''s very nice not needing to switch spatulas all the time.
Being able to throw them in the dishwasher in a perk.

We love Le Creuset kitchenware. Their products are well made, good quality, sturdy and long lasting. This slotted turner is overall good quality but the handle is a bit too long for my taste.
