The tips do not get as hot as they should and they also do not remain hot for very long, I’m constantly having to stop to let it heat up more. The plastic around the tip of the pen gets super hot, and overall it’s pretty cheaply made.
You totally get what you pay for. It’s cool if you don’t mind those few things, at first I didn’t mind either. Yet now I find it ruins the flow state. I’ve seen better wood burners in use and now I see what potential there is with wood burning and I recommend putting the money you would spend on this towards a nicer, little bit more expensive type of wood burner.
